Charity Committee End of Year Report
This has been another busy and rewarding year for the Charity Committee. Highlights included our annual end-of-year Table Quiz, non-uniform days, and the collection of donated school uniforms for young people in Kenya through Friends of Vispa.
We were delighted to welcome representatives from Guide Dogs NI, along with Buff, to receive a cheque for £3,000. This donation will help support the training of more guide dogs and assist the charity in its valuable work.

The Table Quiz once again proved to be a keenly contested event, with pupils competing to earn top spot for their year group. Congratulations to this year's winning teams:
Year 8
Jayden McCreight, Jody McDowell, Luke Bradley and Ben Conway
Year 9
Mia Pollard, Zoe Hough, Robbie Craig and Erin Reid
Year 10
Finlay Paterson, Michael McGee, Layton Ramsay and Conor Culleton
Year 11
Alfie Wallace, Alexander Lyttle, Noah McKeegan and Joshua Mellon

From non-uniform days and bun sales to the Big Bash, lunchtime concerts and our first-ever entry in the Belfast City Marathon, the Larne Grammar School community has raised over £11,000 this academic year, with further donations still being received.
Our JustGiving campaign for Cancer Research UK raised an outstanding £5,225, including Gift Aid. The remaining funds raised throughout the year were shared between Guide Dogs NI and Cancer Research UK.
The Charity Committee would like to thank all pupils, staff, parents and supporters for their generosity and enthusiasm throughout the year. Their support has helped make a meaningful difference to these charities and the people they serve.
