Literacy Collaboration Project - Remembrance

This year, Larne Grammar School ran an Interdisciplinary Literacy Collaboration Project involving the Art, English and History Departments.

This is the first of its kind and coincided with our school Remembrance Services. As part of this project, all Year 10 pupils studied the theme of ‘Voices and Viewpoints of Conflict’ across these subjects and through the lens of Artists, Poets and Historians. This resulted in thoroughly enjoyable experiences for pupils and teachers alike, and a deeper and more memorable understanding of conflict from various perspectives.
