Sports Day 2024
Larne Grammar School's Annual Sports Day took place on Tuesday 11th June, 2024. Despite the cold conditions competitors and spectators enjoyed a comprehensive programme of Track and Field events, a BBQ lunch and the inaugural 'Colour Dash '.
295 athletes competed on the day and were watched by a crowd of pupils from Years 8-11 and Year 13. There were many fantastic individual performances throughout the day including a new school record for Dean Cabrera who recorded an impressive throw of 30.87m in the Year 9 Boys Discus, beating the previous record of 26.93m held since 2011 by Darren McDonagh.
